Ultra-durable "2000 Series" cutting knives for ACSR, bolts, nails, and most hardened wire. Precision machined, mating surfaces and design dimensions, to extremely close tolerances. Smooth streamlined nose with knurled jaws. Pliers halves are matched side to side, jaw to jaw, and hot riveted. Drop forged, hardened, and tempered construction. Cutting knives meet at the hinge first and meet at least 1/2 of the knife length. Special groove at hinge for gripping and pulling flat fish tapes, without damage. Pulls flat-steel fish tape.
